What scares me is the Padres season long impotence against bad starters. The worse a starter is the worse the Padres offense looks. So the matchup with the Phillies looks dangerous as they have nothing but bad starters except for Hamels.

CY’s FB is not that fast; 88-92 – but guys are constantly late on it…
144 – hi all. It probably helps that CY releases the ball closer to the plate than a 6′ pitcher would too. I’m sure it gives the illusion of a faster pitch.
