Naturally the best pitching matchup of the series won't be televised in San Diego. I guess it works out, though; folks around here are already gearing themselves up for the Chargers. I would, too, if it weren't for the fact that I find football rather tedious...

Listening to Jeff Buckley, Live at Olympia (thanks, Didi!). That and a pot of coffee should keep me going for a while. To the links (sit down, we've got a few)... This is old, but it bears mentioning. Mike Cameron has signed with the Brewers (hat tip to Marsh in the comments). As I mentioned at Knuckle Curve, I think Cameron and his camp badly misread the market. I've heard some sentiment that the Padres should have signed him at the price (1 year, $7M) that Milwaukee ended up paying him, but I doubt that this option was available before the Jim Edmonds trade.
