  1. 198: true

  2. nice Crabbe shuffle to 1st

  3. Crabbe’s first career hit there.

  4. Gotta love that speed

  5. Does Buddy have him steal 2nd? If I remember right, he had some bad jumpts in ST.

  6. Not a great AB by Morton.

  7. didnt even have a chance to send him

  8. 205 .. guess we have to wait on that one

  9. Crabbe is a pretty bad base stealer, and Morton doesn’t hit a lot of singles, so I think it made sense to keep Crabbe at first.

  10. Anyone know off the top of their head which NL team has the longest active streak of winning seasons?

  11. 205: He also wasn’t great in the minors on steals (70%; 55% last year in AAA). But that was a great spot to go … ah, doesn’t matter anymore.

  12. Laptop battery is almost dead. Hurry up boys.

  13. Why put Huber in now when he is the only player left on the bench. This one could go 17 innings! Can CY pinch hit?

  14. 213: Philly with five. San Diego’s second with four, though.

  15. 214: Double switch, I suspect.

  16. 214: he would have come in next inning as a PH anyway. They made a double switch. We gotta get out of this inning for it to matter though

  17. Gonzalez is unreal. That’s a sick, sick play.

  18. I LOVE OUR INFIELD !!!!!!!

  19. It looked like Greene just missed the throw from Morton. Was it on target?

    Sweet throw Adrian!

  20. You gotta be KIDDING ME GONZO!!!

  21. HOMBRE!!!!!!!11

  22. 215: ahh, I knew the Pads were up there … and nice play by Gonzalez

  23. First Major League PA against Meredith and his crazy delivery. Poor Timpner.

  24. NICE DOUBLE PLAY!

  25. Adrian deserves and needs a Gold Glove.

  26. Only 8 pitches from Cla, so he can go another if need be. Hopefully we put up a crooked number here!

  27. The last 1B I can remember making throws like that was Keith Hernandez.

  28. Looks like Kouz blocked his hand from getting in there. Very nice play both by Kouz and Adrian.

  29. if Gonzalez does not get a gold glove this year .. there is something wrong with the sports writers

  30. 225: Yeah, they have the fourth longest streak in the Majors (tied with Anaheim). Yankees and Red Sox are obviously 1 & 2 with 15 and 10 years respectively.

  31. Adrian need to hit 40 HRs to get a Gold Glove.

  32. Nice block and dig by Kouz on that one too. Kouz has had a great defensive game.

  33. 232: Yep. It was a fine play on both ends.

233: Pujols is pretty slick with the glove…

  34. 235 .. what do hr have to do with gold gloves … or are you talking west coast bias

  35. 235: Unfortunately that’s probably true. Who won it last year?

  36. I just about crapped in my pants when Velez was called out at third

  37. 238: It shouldn’t have anything to do with it…but most people knows it has an influence

  38. 234: The Yankees haven’t had a losing season since the pre-strike days?!

  39. Where do the Giants go after Hennessey? The longer this goes, the better our chances I think.

  40. Alright Giles

  41. 239 .. Todd Helton should have if not Gonzo … but derrk lee i think from cubs

  42. 234: Nice info … hard to believe the Red Sox are at 10 (I root for them, too,). Not so hard to believe tha Yanks are at 15 … in fact, it seems like it’s been longer …

  43. Giles broke a little mini slump of bad PAs tonight

  44. Why is Hennessey so worried about Giles?
