  3. peavy pich running !!

  4. This is frightening with Peavy pinchrunning

  5. Jake pinch running. Sweeeeet.

  6. Peavy to pinch run. hahaha

  7. Tie ballgame!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Giles CLUTCH

  9. I mean: Morton will have to play the 9th.

  10. be safe on the bases JAKE

Yes Brian .. good job Colt …. now can we bring Jake home SAFE!

  11. Morton is tall and I have to say that OG has had a good day at the plate.

  12. We get ahead and he just has to hold up the glove and let 51 pitch

  13. Another goof by Bocock.

    Iguchi gets on base!

  14. Did you see how hard Peavy was rounding second. I thought he was going to try for third

  15. Hey, Jake is no slouch at hitting and running.

  16. Keep it going boys!

  17. Jake is a position player in his other life ..

  18. 164: I’m sweating just reading your comment.

  19. We have six guys in the lineup batting over 300 still.

  20. 170, keep the faith

  21. Popping up on a 2-0 pitch…

  22. Did Peavy just spike Castillo?

  23. Damn! C’mon guys, I don’t need extra innings tonight. I gotta get up early.

  24. hold’m boys .. we a running out of boys … Maddoux can alway bunt

  25. Why score 2 runs when we can do it next inning, eh?

  26. 176: We still have Huber.

  27. Stop wasting chances.

This is a frustrating start to the season, because the pitching has been so good and the team is actually hitting (albeit for not a lot of power), but they don’t put teams away.

  28. 174: I didn’t see it if he did, but I kinda hope he did.

  29. Rally Pumpkin? Yeah, you’re orange and round, but could you spend an extra five minutes and make a jack o’lantern face too?

  30. 174 .. just his foot cum’n up from the slide .. Castillo was off the bag

  31. Gotta go to bed. 4 AM comes to quick. Later folks.

  32. night.. i get up at 430 .. but have to watch

  33. While OG has had a good night at the plate, that is the second ball he has honked in the field.

  34. Something to think about: Giles sac fly actually decreased the Pads’ win expectancy there (that’s of course assuming it was an average situation, which it surely wasn’t).

  35. taco bell strikes again !!!

  36. Yes!

  37. I’m waiting for Crabbe to win this one for the Pads.

  38. Damn Edmonds… Striking out after swinging at ball four earlier in the AB…

  39. 180, 182: yeah, just an awkward slide, I think.

  40. do the Crabbe shuffel

  41. anyone else worried about a rookie catcher calling the game for our ‘pen?

  42. Greene = no clutch hitting. I thought he was supposed to hit well on the road.

  43. Just when you think Greene is looking better, he goes and has a real stinker for an AB there.

  44. 195 .. i don’t think he is calling much .. pitches being signaled from the dugout

  45. 195: No.

Greeney has looked pretty foul at the plate tonight. An 0-fer and 3 K’s
