Based on one set of splits, I was going to ask whether anyone has ever thought of moving tonight’s starter for the Nationals, Ramon Ortiz, to the bullpen. But instead I’ll use those splits to illustrate the danger of small sample sizes:

Just saw something really wierd. Bonds got ejected for arguing balls and strikes, on the SECOND strike. After the Giants fans stopped coating the outfield in debris, Todd Greene took over with a 2-2 count and weakly popped out. One more pop-up and game over….
