    Let’s Go Padres.

I’m suprised Barry Bonds is playing tonight, there were some rumors he might have been scratched.

Mty XX now just talking about MRI bad for Klesko.. put him under the knife and let Adrian Gonzalez get all this great playing time.

Alright, this is a freak inning… the ball hitting the rubber or Estes’ foot or something.. then Barry BALCO walks and then this infield hit for Alou..

a crooked number isn’t bad here.. but the Giants got REALLY REALLY lucky. Estes in unwraveling a bit now, which is really unfortunate.. He’s been so UNLUCKY this inning it’s got to take a hit to his confidence.

Adrian Gonzalez, 3/4 of the cycle.

He only needs a triple (read: he ain’t hitting for the cycle).

Richard, probably right but this is where that 411 to Right center would help.. if he hit one and it rolled there it would be a cheap triple.

Too bad Bonds is out of the game. Then he could just hit one to left field.

no dice there. but it doesn’t seem like the Giants bullpen is filled with anything exactly.. remember Benitez is out so Worrell is the closer.

Did we just use everyone on the bench that inning?

Mark O, that was obviously the best chance to score we’ve had in the game .. in the 7th inning .. so I have no problem trying your best to get those runs rather than wasting outs.

Giles-Piazza-Adrian Gonzalez comin up here.. hopefully the Padres get can get to this Giants’ pen.

I agree that was our best chance..but it did seem to leave the bench a little thin. I wouldn’t have pinch hit for Roberts..

Okay second game, I think the Padres had their late chances.. it’s okay. good stuff from Adrian Gonzalez.. Giants got freak lucky in the sixth I’m pretty sure whoever saw those plays would agree… that rubber bouncing ball could have been a Double play, the infield hit by Alou could have become an out.. some small things went the Giants way tonight and that made the difference…. SOME of these bounces will eventually go our way and that’s when we need to capitalize.

A split in this series is okay.. we’re at least clear of the Barry Bonds circus featuring ESPN stalker Pedro Gomez for about a month. (May 1+2 @SF next time we play them)

Yep…SF definitely got the breaks in the 6th. Estes pitched better than the numbers will show. Too many double plays by the Padres tonight. Adrian Gonzalez sure looks sweet swinging the bat.

Story is Klesko might have to opt for surgery.. the way Gonzalez is playing.. let Klesko have the surgery.. maybe even bring up Walter Young if you need a backup 1Bman..

I, for one, think we need another arm in the ‘pen real soon because Chan Ho Park might cut it as a reliever but I’m not so sure on Woody Williams. I mean he looked okay out there tonight but he looks like a guy who’s got really little left in the tank.
