  1. The team has now won 5 in a row. Wow, who’d of thunk it. Too bad they have a day off. I’d like to see a sweep of the Dogs (no offense GY).
GY, how about a new poll?

  2. Also won 10 of there last 14. Yes, I read that in the paper this morning. Couldn’t believe it. Latest poll shows more are keeping the faith.

  3. #2@Oside Jon: Jon, WTF are we doing posting here so early in the morning? LOL.

  4. #2@Oside Jon: I took the day off, so I have an excuse. Sorta…

  5. Remember Jonathan Spraud the SS the Padres signed last year, he now goes by Jonathan Galvez. I wonder if he still 17 years old or more like 20.

  6. Regarding the Storm for those of us in San Diego, I think 1700 AM is broadcasting Storm games. I heard parts of the High Desert v LE game last night driving in my car. Has anyone else heard of this?

  7. #6@Loren: Yeah they did it last year as well, I really like it.

  8. Woo-hoo Antonelli got a hit! Baby Steps!

  9. #8@Schlom
Holy crap I didn’t see that. (Gets up and does a happy dance at work)

  10. #1@Turbine Dude: None taken. I’d like to see a sweep of the Dodgers and every other team we play this year.

  11. The Lake Elsinore game was in 10 innings (7-7 after regulation). 10 batters went to the plate in the top of the tenth in beautiful Atalanto, CA (think of the Eagles song “Hotel California” (On a ark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light)) the stadium is in the middle of nowhere.

  12. #9@Loren: That stops a long hitless streak for Antonelli. His first hit in the past ten games, which makes him 1 for his last 30. At least that one hit was a double to go along with his 3 walks in June, making his line 050/174/100. That’s really bad. I don’t know how they can keep him up, although I guess you can say that at least he’s had this bad streak in the PCL’s pitchers parks (6 in Portland, 4 in Sacramento)
