The team has now won 5 in a row. Wow, who’d of thunk it. Too bad they have a day off. I’d like to see a sweep of the Dogs (no offense GY).
GY, how about a new poll?

Also won 10 of there last 14. Yes, I read that in the paper this morning. Couldn’t believe it. Latest poll shows more are keeping the faith.

Remember Jonathan Spraud the SS the Padres signed last year, he now goes by Jonathan Galvez. I wonder if he still 17 years old or more like 20.

Regarding the Storm for those of us in San Diego, I think 1700 AM is broadcasting Storm games. I heard parts of the High Desert v LE game last night driving in my car. Has anyone else heard of this?

#1@Turbine Dude: None taken. I’d like to see a sweep of the Dodgers and every other team we play this year.

  11. Chris Davis Says:

The Lake Elsinore game was in 10 innings (7-7 after regulation). 10 batters went to the plate in the top of the tenth in beautiful Atalanto, CA (think of the Eagles song “Hotel California” (On a ark desert highway, cool wind in my hair
Warm smell of colitas, rising up through the air
Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light)) the stadium is in the middle of nowhere.

#9@Loren: That stops a long hitless streak for Antonelli. His first hit in the past ten games, which makes him 1 for his last 30. At least that one hit was a double to go along with his 3 walks in June, making his line 050/174/100. That’s really bad. I don’t know how they can keep him up, although I guess you can say that at least he’s had this bad streak in the PCL’s pitchers parks (6 in Portland, 4 in Sacramento)
