Iguchi out of the #2 spot and resting. Awesome. Go crazy tonight Edgar with a three hit night and keep “Gooch” there for awhile.

Looks like Prior was a total bust.

#5@Turbine Dude: No doubt about that. Be interesting if he ever pitches another inning at the major league level — I have my doubts on that.

I don’t like sacraficing, with a runner on third and less than two outs.

Well, we’ve had three innings of good pitching and several squandered rallies already. Looks like we’re right on schedule for the Cubs to break through in the 4th and watch the Pads wheels fall off.

    WAAAAAY OT:

Guess who’s playing for the Camden Riversharks of the independent Atlantic League:

Out of the corner of my eye, while watching the pre-game show, I saw that there was a roster move today but I missed what it was. Anyone know?

#15@Turbine Dude: Just looking for a ballgame to go to. The Bridgeport Bluefish are the closest team to me. And I love seeing ex ML ballplayers.

You start mining the rosters around the league, and you see names like Calvin Pickering, Pete Rose Jr (!), Lawrence and Mendez.

    And just slightly off-topic.

I just love the pre-game ladies. Makes an old guys heart flutter. Jenny can wear those glasses too – she’s a cutie. And has anyone noticed that the necklines on Christy’s tops are plunging oh so nicely?

There now, I feel better !

.200 from a former Silver Slugger. Honestly, I’d rather see Carlin in there. At least his defense is a plus. .029 in average is not enough to warrant the free reign Barrett grants opposing runners.

#28@Turbine Dude: Best burger I’ve ever had. It’s a tiny little dive in downtown New Haven. They give you a really hard time if you ask for Ketchup or mustard (condiments mean the meat is inferior, so they don’t have them there).

Anyway, guys, it’s been real, I’m retiring for the night — 11:15 eastern. Hopefully we can salvage one game of this series.

Too bad for Maddux, getting another no decision. Oddly he’s not the worst in the majors in run support, there are actually 9 pitchers below him:

The bottom three are Byrd, Felix Hernandez and John Lannen.

Made ‘em look pretty bad there. Good to see Trev recover from Sunday’s debacle. Having spent the last two nights at the park, it’s great to see those Cub fans drop one. There is no team that travels like the Cubbies, almost as bad as Red Sox nation’s invasion last year! i cant remember ever seeing so many Cub fans @ PetCo, guess they were especially obnoxious cause we’re struggling and they seem to be winning so easily. Bring on the Mets!!! Go Pads
