I sure hope we dont have Zach Duke again. He beat us yesterday. He he…

Anyway, so far it looks as if CY is on his game. Good for our side..

Crap, so much for the no-no. I have a feeling the first one is going to happen soon, though . . .

3 up, 3 down for Trevor. Another win for the Pads. Two out of three — I’ll take it.

my internet went down last night, but that was a new low in vinny-ball. i feel sorry for the guy. nevin was a hothead, and could see being a total prick when trying to sit him; i can see vinny being mellow and taking it well, so want him to succeed in some appropriate way. this was like barfield’s game against the d-backs; one guy just having a horrid day, though vinny has other horrid days. couple this with giles getting picked off in the cardinals game, these veterans are sure being boneheads.

Hawaii does the survive-advance-thing by beating Kansas … will play Oregon St here in Corvallis starting in about a half-hour … winner (Hawaii has to be OSU 2 times) will advance to Super Regional against Stanford, which just beat NC St (which earlier eliminated Texas) … it’s June Madness :-)

Headley continues to like the Lancaster launching pad … HR #8 today … plus another hit & walk …

Hawaii has two chances of beating Osu…none and none..at least of beating them twice. Dang it really hurts for Steven Wright to be out for the season..

Portland really shaking things up today. McAnulty at 3b and Leone at ss…hmmmm?

Vinny Castilla has to go. He’s the worst hitter on the team and apparently is like our second or third best third baseman defensively.

OSU whup’s Hawaii 12-3 to advance to Super Regional … Stanford will come here (to Corvallis) for that next weekend … first game will match 2 high-draft choices: Dallas Buck for OSU … Greg Reynolds for Stanford … that’ll be a good game!

hank - yow, good catch on the Beaver lineup! I see they didn’t make any errors … I *like* it!

Wow, that’s a good 2-7 in the Beaver’s lineup: Sledge, McAnulty, Johnson, Cust, Leone, Knott … those guys are all hitters! But they pretty much got shut down by Edgar Gonzalez of Tucson/Arizona … so … I s’pose they are AAAA-hitters ’till they get a shot and prove otherwise …
