Great Moments in Awkwardness: Gonzalez to Remain with Padres

That stuff you, me, and the rest of the Internet were buzzing about on Saturday? Forget it. Adrian Gonzalez and the Red Sox could not reach an agreement on a long-term deal. Everyone on all sides must feel very, very loved right now.

Adrian Gonzalez Traded to Boston for Guys You Haven’t Heard of… Yet

Slow news day, eh? Neither team has confirmed this, but sources too numerous to count are reporting that the Padres and Red Sox have agreed to a trade that would send All-Star first baseman Adrian Gonzalez to Boston for right-handed pitcher Casey Kelly, first baseman Anthony Rizzo, center fielder Reymond Fuentes, and a player to [...]

One Down, Two to Go

Whatever the outcome, 2010 has been an unqualified success for the Padres. Anyone who says otherwise is rewriting history.
