One Tall Wheelbarrow

Speaking of poetry, longtime reader and frequent commenter Tom Waits went William Carlos Williams on us the other day. I really wish I’d written this myself:

so much depends
upon

a 6′10″
pitcher

glazed with Icy
Hot

atop the pitching
mound.

Nicely done, Tom. As poems go, I’ve seen verse…
