Here are the 2008 schedules for all colleges in San Diego county that play baseball, along with the date of their first home game. Let me know if I’ve missed anything:
NCAA Division I
- San Diego State Aztecs — Feb 9 vs Alumni, Feb 22 vs USD
- University of San Diego Toreros — Feb 23 vs SDSU
NCAA Division II
- University of California San Diego Tritons — Feb 1 vs Western Oregon
NAIA
- Cal State San Marcos Cougars — Feb 2 vs Vanguard
- Point Loma Nazarene University Sea Lions — Jan 25 vs Oregon Tech
- San Diego Christian College Hawks — Jan 31 vs La Sierra
Junior Colleges
- Grossmont College Griffins — Jan 26 vs San Bernardino
- Mesa College Olympians — Jan 31 vs Santa Ana
- Palomar College Comets — N/A
- San Diego City College Knights — Jan 29 vs Scottsdale
- Southwestern College Jaguars — Feb 1 vs Pasadena

The Kansas City Royals have reached preliminary agreement on a one-year, guaranteed $3 million contract with free-agent pitcher Brett Tomko, a baseball source said.

Wow, thanks for the plug for SDCC. Sorry we couldn’t perform up to the plug. Final home games coming up, a DH against Fresno Pacific this Saturday, and then the season finale against CSU-San Marcos on the 30th.
