Ducksnorts Fantasy Baseball

It’s that time of year again. Coronado Mike has been good enough to set up a free 12-team 5 x 5 league for us at ESPN. Drop me a line if interested, and I’ll send out an invite. First-come, first-served.

[Update: Apparently the invite I sent didn't work; I'm investigating this now. If I sent you one and you can't get in, hang tight and we'll get you hooked up asap. Thanks!]

[Update #2: We've sent out invites to the first 12 folks who requested them; assuming everyone accepts, the league is now closed. Thanks!]

  1. Happy Mardi Gras, GY!

  2. If you have contacted Geoff…as of 10:45am Pacific time…you should have received an invite to join the league from ESPN. If you have not, please let us know.

    Thanks.

  3. Bad news for Sean Burroughs. After signing a minor league deal as a non-roster invitee with the M’s, he’s listed as being out indefinitely:

“Burroughs slipped and fell while fishing in San Diego last week. An MRI revealed a sprained AC joint and separation in the right shoulder.”

  4. I just read that the A’s got Shannon Stewart. Wow, what a move if that pans out.

I swear I didn’t prick any needle on that Sean Burrough giveaway action figure last week.

  5. Okay…it looks like the Ducksnorts ESPN FLB league may be full. We have sent out the requested invites and, assuming everyone accepts, we are now full.

    Looking forward to it guys/gals!!!

Just a little prediction…just like the Ducksnorts Fantasy Football League, the San Diego Senators will dominate!!! I am calling my shot.

  6. Too late, wow, it’s already filled up. Should make for a fun league. I wonder if I can get Dexter and the gaslamp gang to start a league. Maybe we can have a playoff between to the two champions… ?

  7. I’m in and very excited to be playing! Also extremely excited by the start of spring training. It’s baseball time!

Not so excited by the hiring of Norv Turner. More reason to focus on baseball.

  8. Second straight year I snoozed a day too long to get into the league.Oh well.
