Hank

Just wanted to drop a quick note to let everyone know that longtime reader and fellow Padres blogger Hank passed away in his sleep July 1. I’m sorry that I never got to meet him in person, and we’ll all miss his contributions to Ducksnorts and the Padres community at large. Rest in peace, friend.

    My condolences to Hank’s family. Sorry that we are not going to read anymore of Hank’s comments.

    Hope he gets to meet all the baseball gods up there and show them a thing of two about the modern baseball. Have fun, Hank.

    Hank … your “Padres Prospects” web page / blog was pioneering … feeding my interest in following the up&comers near-daily. Your wit & insight & passion were always fun … and I’ll miss that! God bless you & your family!

    To Hank’s Family:

    I hope that the memories of Hank will help get you through this time. I recently lost a dear friend myself and what I tried to keep telling myself was that it only hurt so bad because she was worth it. All the positive thoughts I can muster are directed your way.
