• Peavy’s groin injury worrisome (U-T). Padres’ ace could miss home opener April 7. Justin Germano and Tim Stauffer are mentioned as possible replacements.
• Klesko continues Petco Park whine (U-T). As Bobbi Fleckman would say, “You don’t talk so much – just smile and look smart.”
• 12-time All-Star retires; has back, vision problems (ESPN). Former Padre Roberto Alomar calls it a career. Should be a lock for the HOF.
