Geoff,
Just found your site and I’m thrilled to see some Blogs about the Padres! I will be at the Padres game tonight and will post some comments afterward.
I have lived here in Zona for 12 years, but grew up in San Carlos and La Mesa and I’m a diehard Pads fan.
Tonight’s game is sold out, in part because it’s the only A’s night game of the spring, and also because there are fireworks afterward (though it has been drizzling off and on all day). Zito is throwing the first three innings, so we have the full-on San Diego connection tonight.

Welcome! Glad you found us. My band is playing out in your old neighborhood next weekend (used to be called the Navajo Inn). Anyway, have fun at the game tonight. I look forward to your report.

That’s a wig? I never would have known.
I don’t get to see any Padres games because I live in an area without cable service, but I’m considered to be in the Padres area, so the games are blacked out on the Extre Innings package.
Just think of all the por Cuyamacans who are being denied their Padres!

Oddly enough, the wig is exactly the same as my real hair in every respect.
