It's not a recipe for success. For comparison's sake, his K/9 and GB/FB rates are distressingly similar to Justin Germano's. We wondered late last year if Geer might be the kind of guy who can actually turn his stuff up a notch when he needs the strikeouts, but....those guys are more mythical than real. #19@<a href="#comment-196865" rel="nofollow">Richard Wade</a>: Antonelli's ISO is no longer strong. His BB markers is the only thing he can hang his statistical hat on now. It's encouraging to hear that he hasn't sunk into depression, though. I'm sure he's right back down once Peavy is activated. He's been pitching OK in Portland (2 ER in 9 IP) but I still have zero confidence after his brutal early season performance.
