He puts a good swing on the ball does he not ? I will let it go, but I am still perplexed as to why the guy wasn't here two months ago. They told him before spring training that it was his job to win and all he did in STraining was lead the team in total bases and then they send him down and picked up a fringe player like Huber. It looks like Gerut became the backup plan after they just couldn't stand to watch Edmonds anymore (and perhaps when they got sick of his attitude in the clubhouse). Kinda like Nevin in 1999, but it happened faster.
