I mentioned the other night that I was concerned that CY’s recovery would take a while and put him at risk for altering his motion, hurting his back, etc…well, the Union Trib talks about the potentially long road to recovery after getting hit in the head…

The bummer is that he’s already 27 years old … but he had a SO/BB ratio > 4:1 last year in 100+ IPs in the Mexican League … might not mean much, but that kind of interior stat is always a good thing …
Then he did OK in 37 IPs at AA San Antonio to end last season and start this season … and now with Adams/Wells/Banks getting called up from AAA, there’s sure to be some good / high leverage innings at AAA for Moreno … so we’ll learn a lot about him pretty quick, I’m guessing …
