Robles has been seeing most of the action at shortstop because Luis Rodriguez suffered a “right hook of hamate fracture” (it’s in the wrist) and has been placed on the disabled list. Outfielder Will Venable was reinstated from the DL to take Rodriguez’s place on the roster.
