MLB Trade Rumors had an interview with the subject of the article, the Royals’ Brian Bannister where he goes into depth about his use of statistics and outlines his classification of pitchers as Late Movers, Risers, and Deceivers

Hey, Geoff, I know we did those guesses for what players will do awhile back, but I just looked up Iguchi’s Bill James projections: 18 home runs, 76 RBIs, .287 batting average, .365 on-base percentage, .444 slugging percentage.
I’ve been listening to some of these interviews over at http://www.xxsportsradio.com. The CY and Trevor ones are pretty funny, Trevor’s partially because Giles is up to his naked tricks again.
They’re referring to McAnulty as JackAnulty after the HR’s he hit.
They have Wells sitting in on a bunch of the interviews too, which is hysterical.
#12: Those numbers seem optimistic to me. I will say that Iguchi impressed me in batting practice yesterday. He generates surprising power for a guy his size.
Mr. Watson! Come here! I want you!
Hey, Wolf survived a full inning.
KT sitting right behind the plate. Someone text Geoff and tell him to get over there!
Kooouuuuuuzzz!!!! 2 run homer. Lined an inside fastball over the left field fence.
Koooooooouz
Not a bad first inning.
Here’s a great article about using statistical analysis as a pitcher

LeBlanc looked good. I hope this guy gets a good look for the %th spot
First game on TV and the open threads were dead here and over at GLB. Where is everyone?
I went a little nuts with the pix today: morning practice and game vs White Sox. Enjoy!

Does that sound in the ballpark to you?
It would be great if it was.
