There is really no reason that Padres should be in a position where KG is their only option in 2 years. 2 years is plenty of time to find someone to replace KG. At 10 m/yr he is not worth the chunk of our payroll his salary will demand especially if he OB skills do not improve. Even with his recent fluff comments I cant imagine KG wouldnt be happier playing in a home park that doesnt completely destroy his game. 8: I agree.
