i work at SDSU and always work the games at the ticket office, so theres a good chance i’ll be there working at the least. and im there for the other games occasionally as well.

Is anyone excited about the signing of Jody Gerut (how many scrubs can the Pads sign with fingers crossed?) . Will it be Gerut (or perhaps PMAC/Ambres) who has the same year of performance in 2008 that Lofton (.296 29 steals) or Gonzalez will have at much less of a price ?
Keep in mind that the Pads could sign any of the vets still available for a bargain basement price…..

Looks like the Padres are after Matt Murton, which is fine with me. I’m not sure why he didn’t get a fair chance in Chicago, but I think he’d be a great addition. Not sure where that’d leave Headley…
