70: Bases loaded, no outs, Padres down 2-0, Sledge hits into the double play. The guy is nothing but worthless, however I'm going to put an equal share of the blame on Barrett who left 5 on base, and Germano who has clearly turned back into a pumpkin.

He’s a AAAA hitter who tore up AAA this year. His career minor league stats are .305/.426/.509, but he’s never really gotten a chance in the majors.

I’m with JP. I don’t think it’s worth dragging Sledge out there for starts — he just doesn’t look like he’s going to hit. I’d try Hairston out there and hope that he gets hot, at least he has some power.

I didn’t realize Saenz was so fat. He’s looks like El Guapo’s (Rich Garces) brother. Could you imagine seeing Saenz and Wells coming out of an elevator and saying to yourself “Those are professional athletes.” Yikes.
