Agreed that Hensley has been a huge disappointment...I still think he can turn it around.
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

2: Wells got better in the pen, but he's still not anybody we want to see in a high or medium leverage situation.
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

Did you see the numbers on the Clay Hensley start last night ? Hensley has been the MOST disappointing pitcher in the system this year.
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

Needless to say, Rakers,Cassidy,JWells, and Thompson have not had good seasons at AAA. If the Pads decide to add another mop up man, then I would say that Cassidy is the guy, This despite the fact that Cassidy has been one of the more disappointing throwers in the system this year. He really contributed last year to the Pads success last year, yet was not a fronrtrunner to make the big league depth chart out of spring training. This tells you how good the Pads bullpen truly is. But I sometimes wonder if guys (especially the career 30 year old Minor Leaguer like Cassidy) get discouraged when they finally have a decent to good year up with the big club and then the next year they are not considered to be a clincher for a roster spot.
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

What's the scoop on our September callups?

I hear Myrow and Clark are coming, but neither are on the roster. Who goes? Rakers? Cassidy? JWells? Not sure that Robles or Ketchner can be dumped being that they were called up and DL'd for post season maneuverability.

It doesn't really give us a lot of leeway. I imagine the usual suspects will be back as well - Stauffer/Thompson, Hensley, PMAC attack. I would have liked to see Boca, but he is also not on the roster.
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)
