#72 I totally agree with you there. I think the people that call in are just the type of people who want to complain about things. Unfortunately, XX keeps giving our their call-in number! I'd call in, but I usually generally agree with what the hosts are saying, and only feel the urge to call in when I have a disagreement.

After thinking all nite about my Dunn comments, I’m still not sold on the move. I think that it would get a lot of fans to stop griping about our management, but I don’t think that should be the only goal. While I do think Dunn has value to add, I’m not sure he’s the best possible choice. However, our options could be limited, so we might have to go with him as the best available option.

Here’s a question, though. Once Dunn is traded, he can become a FA next year. Would we want to sign him for like a 2 year deal? What could/should we trade to get him?

Man, nothing more frustrating than listening to XX Post game show on the way home. I swear to God, they will give any idiot who promises to bitch and moan air time.

I love that so many people are whining about our offense after this series, when in reality, it was our pitching that let us down. You wanna whine about the hitting, do it when it actually fails us. Our offense put up some runs this series, our pitchers just couldn’t get it done.

The other thing that irks me to no end is that these same buffoons on the radio are now convinced that we’re a terrible team. These are the same people, who 3 games prior, were convinced that we had all the tools and this would be the year. 3 games does not a whole season make. In fact, 1.85% of your season really shouldn’t affect your overall feeling about this team.

Adam Dunn is not the answer. Sorry Peter :-p

That was quite an impressive sweep by Seattle. Outscoring us by 3 runs over 3 games. Winning today with 0 extra base hits. Scoring the go ahead run on an error, sacrifice bunt, steal of third, and slow ground out.
