This is the second "hothead" the Padres have acquired this month, and Barrett's working okay thus far. I really think that the environment of having Greg Maddux and company around might help. At best, he reverts back to his days of previous successes in the early part of the decade. At worst, he gets DFA'ed again. Either way, the team is not <i>tangibly</i> out that much. Wow, Dave Del Grande is not loving on Billy Beane up in the Bay area. He also calls Cust "Gloveless Jack Cust" ala Shoeless Joe Jackson.
