16, HUGE oversight - BA says Breit is 11 (I think) and Miller is 12... better stuff but less polish than Breit... Looking back at my rankings, I'd put him in that 12-6 range...

There are a couple guys BA left out of the top 15 that I disagree with and Miller could be a FAST-riser in anyone's Padre rankings. I like the kid a lot...
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

13: Miller was one of 3 very good draft-and-follows we signed last year. Aaron Breit and Robert Garramone were the other 2.

http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/draft/news/261491.html

Breit is in Ft. Wayne. He's been hit this year, but it's only 3 games and the Midwest League schedule has been screwed by the weather.

It looks like Garramone is in extended spring training. Either that or he's hurt. He's not on a minor league roster that I can find.
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

Getting a jump on PF's minor league report - Drew Miller struck out 11 in 7 innings in a 1-0 win for Ft. Wayne. Miller had a no-hitter when he was pulled but had reached his pitch count. The bullpen closed things out for him giving up just one hit. Hunter had 2 of the Wizard's 5 hits and drove in the only run of the game.
Current score: 0 (to vote for this comment, please visit the site)

Just going through old emails. Someone requested a breakdown of the Padres offense by inning a while back:

http://www.baseball-reference.com/pi/bsplit.cgi?team=SDP&year=2007
