So far, our LF platoon has an OPS of 1.067. Great to see Adrian return to the opposite field after a very bried hiatus (games 3-4). Lot of singles, lots of base runners with leads to a lot of guys left out there, but good pitching and good defense kept us in it. I kind of like that Branyan is producing. Arguably, this takes some pressure off Kouz, he can come in a bit slower. Yes, it creates more competition for the spot, but it also means Kouz does not have to hit right away. Whatever that's worth. It was interesting to see the two sides of OG at the plate: good OG turned on two inside pitches and hit line drive singles to right, one of them against a lefty. Bad OG hit two pop ups to left.
