Agreed though, the defense has been suspect the past few games. Here's to Maddux being the stopper he's supposed to be today, as well as the boys getting back on track. This must be a deadarm period you hear about from time to time (an excuse?). Three blowups and pitching is our strong point. The arms will come back, what I can't stand, the eggplant if you will, is the sloppy play in the field. The lazy turn on the double play, the two dropped balls by the catcher, and on and on.
