I'd be impressed if Khalil had drawn even a single walk this spring. I know he has pop, but if he's going to contribute even average offensive numbers during the regular season, he has to get on base more. And until he learns the strike zone and develops some plate discipline, his power will not be fully realized. Agree with Nick G. DS has been my home page for quite a while now.

RE: 20, if you can properly pronounce Québecois (I don’t believe there’s a second aigu), I would be impressed.

I have the interesting honor of seeing the Padres’ last game at Le Stade Olympique because I was in Québec for a semester studying the culture and the language.

13) I wish I had known that all along. As a displaced San Diegan, I’m an absolute fiend for Pads info.

I’m personally thrilled to see the way Khalil has heated up recently. I’m a huge KG fan, and it was tough to swallow those first few ABs this spring. I’m hoping that this is his break-out year and that he proves to be a reliable solution for years to come.
