I would love to see the Mets send Albert Pujols and his tired act home for the winter, but Oliver Perez in Game 7? I guess if the Mets can score 12 runs again, they’ll be okay. Unfortunately for the home team, Jeff Suppan spun eight shutout innings his last time out against them in Game 3.

This is turning out to be fun, eh?!
I got to say, I have been a fan of Albert for a while. I also like LaRussa and Carpenter…did you see Wainright’s nasty stuff the other night?
Now, on the other hand, always a fan of little Billy Wagner and my wife has a crush on Delgado, so I am torn.
In the end, there is something to be said for my fondness of the color red, my enjoyment of 2 ballgames last year at the old Busch stadium, and it would be nice to say that the Pads got beat by the NL Representative in the WS, so…this fan is rooting for the Cards. Sorry Geoff…

I’m rooting for the Cards too … my roots there go deep (back to Gibson/Brock/etc in 60s) … and I’m still a *HUGE* Pujols fan … the guy walks-the-walk …

Wilson starting over Taguchi? If Bochy did that, we’d be big on his case … actually, if KT had aquired Wilson, we’d be big on his case … I like SA’s approach to let folks see if the grass really is greener somewhere else … I susepct it’s a similar shade of green/brown in most places …
