Canseco or Not, Here We Come

Knuckleballer Jose Canseco won’t be there, but that can’t stop us from having a Ducksnorts meetup at Tony Gwynn Stadium this Friday night. Buy general admission tickets and we’ll meet at the concession stand on the first base side, right behind the main entrance. I’m planning to get to the stadium around 6:45 p.m. We’ll hang out there till 7 p.m., then head up to find seats.

Can’t make this one? No worries, we’ve got more meetups planned. Because, really, you cannot stop a revolution.

      Yesterday, BillR asked: was it as dumb as it looks to bring Peavy out for the 8th?

      To which I answer: not as dumb as letting him bat in the top of the 8th! I’m pretty sure his pitch count was >100 … top of the order coming up (actually, top of order after PH’er in 9th slot) … was a no-brainer to PH there … bleh …

      Hmm, I have plans tomorrow night, but I’ll be in the area — at Cox Arena for the Pearl Jam concert. Maybe I can swing by before the show and say high — but that would require paying for a ticket. We’ll see, I’ll be with a bunch of people and we’ll be pre-partying.
