Peavy does have an oddly upright follow through. he seems to whip his arm around his torso rather than down across his body. It always looks to me like he's going to rip his arm off but it seems to work for him.

GY - thanks for the link to Nate Silver’s articles @ ESPN … there’s a picture of Peavy (@ #29) that’s VERY odd … do you think he’s consistently that upright at that point in his delivery? Seems like most pitchers, especially power pitchers, have a MUCH more bent left knee … or might this just be the after effects of the icy hot???
