I was at the game as well (big deal for me, because I live in SF). This evens my Petco record to 1-1. I was cringing on the call to bring in Aki. He’s been having control problems, brings him in with the bases loaded. On his warm-ups he looked to have trouble finding the strike zone. I was seething with Bochy’s decision. Then, boom, ahead O-2 and later converts the K. That is why I watch and others manage/play.

As Geoff mentioned, I loved Aki’s AB. As my girlfriend said, “That was cute.”

Nice to get a win and briefly cool down Lee.

Just got back from the game. After the second inning, Eaton looked fantastic. Aki was great, and his at-bat was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen on a baseball field. Good effort all the way around, and a good (and needed) win at home.

On another note, and once again the folks who read the comments get the news first, I’ll be appearing on Channel 4’s “Outta Left Field” before Wednesday night’s game against the Indians. I’ve never done TV before, so it should be fun. More details in subsequent posts.

Anyway, great game tonight. Later…

I find that it's hard to complain about run production when they have at least one run per two hits. They were more efficient than that tonight, so I'm pleased.

my attitude is MUCH better now.. back on the winning track and its nice to see Aki have a good outing.. burroughs stung the ball pretty well also(except the ground out) but Khalil seems to be struggling.
